GI Joe Toys For Sale

August 24, 2010
The new GI Joe Pursuit of Cobra action figures are now on our
homepage. I don't have all them up yet but I will soon.

I also plan to add best of pages soon which will be comprised of the
most popular GI Joe figures. I won't go into any greater detail than
that as I don't want to let my idea out of the proverbial bag.

I figured I would let you all know that wave 11 and wave 12 should be here
some time soon. Hope everyone is doing well. Have a great month and if
I don't talk to you again before, "Happy Thanksgiving!".

GI Joe Toys - Wave 11Buy GI Joe GI Joe Figures - Wave 12

September 28, 2008

I wanted to write to the visitors of my sites. I want to start by thanking you for your patronage.
As it has turned out, September was short on any substantial new 25th Anniversary GI Joe action figures.
Good news though, October promises to be more exciting. I expect to see both wave 9 and wave 10 this month.
I believe we can go ahead and expect at least a one month delay between estimated and actual shipping
times of these new 25th Anniversary waves.

What exactly does wave 9 and wave 10 entail? I will tell you.

Wave 9
GI Joe Figures
Sgt. Flash
Major Bludd
Hawk
Bazooka
Barbeque
Storm Shadow Black
Snow Serpent
BAT

Wave 10
GI Joe Action Figures
Duke (Tiger Force)
Mutt and Junkyard
Para-Viper
Cobra Bazooka Trooper
Croc Master
Wraith

Wave 9 was supposed to be released in September but I think we can all agree that's not
going to happen or at least I haven't received my shipment yet.

Now, one of the many benefits to
owning your own website is the ability to share your opinion with your visitors. If you care to read
what I have to write, enjoy...

My Opinion
I am a big fan of GI Joe and all other great action figures. I plan on posting some video comparisons
to validate my position in the future but I digress. I think Hasbro did a fine job on these 25th Anniversary
GI Joe action figures; however I don't think it's had the impact they were looking for. I say this because they
are continuing to release additional waves of these figures. When I played with Joes there seemed to be
only a handful or so. These newest releases contain figures that I don't remember to well. Maybe it was
after I had moved on to other things. Anyway, my point is; I don't believe Hasbro can recapture the audience
they had in the 80s, prior to the release of the movie and probably not even after.

The other thing that bothers me is...
the re-release of previous wave figures in revisions of the newer waves. I personally spent a lot of money
on a Snake Eyes with Black Timber figure. If this variant gets re-released it will drive down the value
of everyone's figure. I feel like that's a real slap in the face of collectors every where. Am I wrong?
I don't collect for the money. However, it would be nice to know that my figure will retain it's value
and possibly appreciate. Maybe their doing it for the late comers. Whatever! You snooze you lose.
Just kidding, maybe.

The 25th Anniversary GI Joe action figures that have best retained their eighties style are
Flash, Mutt with Junkyard and Major Bludd.

Why haven't they made an individual Baroness in her black cat suit yet?
Cmon. What's up with this blue uniform Baroness? Jeez!!!

Please feel free to contribute if I'm missing something.

GI Joe Entusiasts Opinions

Matt T. says
"My opinion of the 25th Anniversary line is generally favorable. The articulation is great and they have made
some great choices on which characters to release. I do wish that more of the figures would have been individually packaged
as opposed to bundled with vehicles. The original 13 Joes individually packaged, or as a set of 13, would have been great.
Fortunately, I have been able to obtain the 12 of the original 13 they have made and have also made a custom of Zap to complete the set
The Cobra troopers and officers are very true to their original form, but the improvements in articulation are phenominal.
Overall, a pretty good job but I agree that the intended impact of the line seems to be smaller than expected
and there are, in my opinion, many unnecessary characters on the market."
